Magic: The Gathering has officially teamed up with one of animation’s most iconic characters for Felix the Cat: Magic Bag of Tricks, a new Secret Lair drop that brings the legendary cartoon troublemaker into the Multiverse.
If you’ve ever watched Felix pull a ridiculous solution out of nowhere, then you already understand the theme of this drop. The entire set is built around unpredictability, imagination, and the kind of cartoon logic that somehow works even when it shouldn’t.

What’s Inside Felix the Cat: Magic Bag of Tricks?
The drop contains five cards:
- Future Sight
- Time Stretch
- Barrowgoyf as “Feral Felix”
- Throes of Chaos
- Mind’s Eye
Each card has been reimagined with Felix-inspired artwork that captures the classic cartoon energy fans have loved for generations.
The standout card for many players will probably be Feral Felix, a special version of Barrowgoyf that transforms the normally intimidating creature into something that somehow feels both adorable and slightly terrifying at the same time.
Future Sight and Mind’s Eye are also excellent choices for the theme. Few characters fit the idea of seeing what’s coming next quite like Felix, especially when he usually has some impossible trick hidden away for later.
Then there’s Time Stretch and Throes of Chaos, two cards that perfectly represent the unpredictable situations Felix always seems to find himself in.

One of the things Secret Lair does best is take characters from outside Magic and find surprisingly good ways to connect them to existing cards.
Felix the Cat might not have been on anybody’s Secret Lair prediction list, but after seeing the artwork, it becomes obvious why the crossover works.
